Welcome to our community!

The course with community at its heart. Fully integrated digital. Perfect pacing for successful lessons.
The imaginary city of Rooftops provides the perfect context for learning English, introducing your class to the Rooftops
community where they join the children at school, the park, and the carnival.
Through sharing different events and situations, children learn about community values, and life in an English city.
At higher levels children from other countries visit Rooftops in an exchange programme where they explore the city and
the UK and talk about their own culture and countries.
A fully integrated digital package with animated stories, songs, games and activities allows you to pace your lessons
perfectly.

The perfect blend of digital and print material

In Oxford Rooftops, lessons are delivered in a combination of exciting digital and print formats. The approach is guided by the iPack and is easy to follow.

The community context

Oxford Rooftops emphasizes values, teaching learners to work together, help those in need and to organize community
events. In this way, Oxford Rooftops promotes self-esteem, positive attitudes, tolerance and respect towards others.

Teaching is easy with the 3-step approach

Ready-to-use lessons integrate all the course components to ensure a variety of pace and a perfect balance between input,  interaction and production.

Presentation

Get your lesson off to a great start with a ‘heads up’ introduction to the vocabulary using the iPack.
With lively animations to motivate your pupils, vocabulary presentation is now dynamic and fun so your classes engage with their learning.

Consolidation

Activities in the Class Book encourage children to work collaboratively to practise the vocabulary and consolidate their learning.
The Class Book pages are on the iPack so you know students are on the right page, and you can also play the audio and check answers with the whole class.

Practice

Using the Activity Book, it’s ‘heads down’ as children practise the language they have learned on their own. You can use the Activity Book pages on the iPack to save time checking answers. In levels 3–6 there are additional interactive games and activities on the iPack for extra reinforcement.
